Belly of the Beast
Zexion falls into an acidic pool of digestive fluid that begins to eat away at him. There are many floating corpses and hunks of rubble around.

Re: Belly of the Beast
The dice are trying to kill me. How about the Eladrin? Isn't he getting digested too?

Re: Belly of the Beast
You attempt to cast a spell while desperately trying to stay afloat in the churning pool. The acid trickles into your flesh and you yelp with pain, disturbing your concentration.
Take 2d4 acid damage

Re: Belly of the Beast
How about the Eladrin? He's still unconcious from being mind possessed, isn't he?
Zexion
Re: Belly of the Beast
He's totally useless to you. He is completely oblivious to his surroundings and spends the whole time engrossed in his books.
Re: Belly of the Beast
Not sure if his book got a way to get out of here but...
How long until his books dissolve in the acid?
Chaos attack stomach. If I roll an even number to hit, I should be able to hit the stomach again, in another area.

2nd attack is...
note if I can't reattack stomach, I'm targetting Erevan's book.

Re: Belly of the Beast
Your attacks are having very little effect and it's very difficult to focus while you are floating in acid.
Perhaps you should try a different tactic?

Re: Belly of the Beast
Why am I the only one taking damage? I'll piggyback Erevan to get out of the acid while I think.
OOC: Why do I feel I'm playing D&D solo? Just me and a DM who thinks this is Descent? Once I get Descent, why don't you overlord it?

Re: Belly of the Beast
You push Erevan down into the acid and perch on his shoulders. He seems completely unplussed by these events and nonchalantly turns the page of his miraculously unscathed book.
You are no longer taking acid damage and can get a better look at your surroundings.
The stomach has two obvious exits. one up the way you came and one deep under the acid leading to the intestines that you would have to swim for.
The bodies floating around are in various states of decay and some pieces of rubble are large enough to stand on or use as makeshift rafts.

Re: Belly of the Beast
I should've taken resistance against acid instead of poison... there's no way I'm going to swim in acid, and I don't have a levitate spell either, so I need to find a weak point to slash with my sword. Do I see anything?

Re: Belly of the Beast
Your dice roller hates me, you know? That's another roll less than 10 on a crucial check.

Re: Belly of the Beast
You don't see anywhere you can slash. The walls look thick and far away from where you are standing on the wizard's shoulders. More corpses and some bones float past your position.
Re: Belly of the Beast
Hello? Is this thing on?
If anybody can hear me shout at the walls as loud as you can.
This creature isn't just a monster, it's some kind of vehicle. I think we can control it from a sort of command bridge in the brain but we might need everyone we can find to operate it.
I can open an access hatch if you are in the stomach that leads up through the heart to the head.
If there's anything around you of any value take it with you! We need to know more about this thing and why it's here.

Re: Belly of the Beast
I hear you loud and clear. Everything around here is corroded and digested. Requesting support, not sure how much longer the wizard can bathe in acid before he's dissolved.
